Charleston, Missouri pursues an Opportunity Zone designation to court redevelopment

Charleston, Missouri is pursuing Opportunity Zone designation to attract long-term private investment and redevelopment, hiring economic-development consultancy KBS Group to guide the effort. Charleston joins a widening set of southeast Missouri communities feeding the state's OZ 2.0 nomination process ahead of the fall federal deadline.
